Plans are about capacity, not features

Yes, and it is not a trial — it does not expire and it does not ask for a card. The free plan carries 10 trails and 3 field workers, and it includes the trail planner, the field app, offline downloads and your public conditions page. Small trail systems run on it permanently.

Capacity, mostly. The planner, the mobile apps, maintenance, the public site and offline packs are on every plan including the free one, and what changes as you move up is how much you can have going at once: trails, networks, managers, field workers, active projects and storage. The one exception is a short list of planning overlays — slope, aspect, hillshading, land boundaries and satellite imagery — which start on Core. Those are for working out where new trail should go rather than for looking after the trail you have.

No. A plan includes a number of managers and a number of field workers, and the price does not change with how many of those seats you fill. A club with a large volunteer crew pays the same as one with a small crew on the same plan.

Each chapter gets its own workspace — its own trails, team, settings and public site — and anyone who works across more than one switches between them from the sidebar. Pricing is per chapter at the same rate for everyone under the umbrella, and that rate comes down for all of them as more chapters join. Tell us how many you run and we will work it out with you.

Yes. Trails, maintenance items, notes and photos are all available offline, and work recorded out of signal syncs when the phone finds a connection. You can download a pack for a network in advance so the base map, the terrain and the photos are on the device before you leave the parking lot.

Yes — GPX, KML and GeoJSON, in bulk. Most organizations arrive with files from a handheld GPS or an older mapping tool, and importing them is the first thing you do rather than a migration project.

Nothing is deleted and nothing stops working. You are asked to move up a plan before you add the next one over the cap. Archiving a finished project or client also gives its slot straight back, so the active counts follow your current work rather than everything you have ever done.
